DigitalTourBus Presents the “Glued To The Couch Tour" featuring Serianna (Bullet Tooth), Onward To Olympas (Facedown), My Heart To Fear (Solid State), Mouth Of The South, and InDirections. The tour kicks off March 22 and runs to April 12, all dates below. Serianna’s Kris Meyer-Ruef (Guitar) checked in to say, “Serianna’s got a brand new line up and a brand new energy to bring to the table. Our new material is bouncier and heavier, we want kids to move with us! We’re super stoked to be hitting the road with our dudes in Onward To Olympas, the band works hard and plays hard. It’s going to be a blast!”
Serianna just wrapped up in the studio for their new album “Define Me" with producer Josh Schroeder, who is responsible for new albums from For Today and The Color Morale. The new music is as heavy as ever and incredibly emotional as their fans have come to expect, much like their latest single “Deadweight" released on October 16, 2012. The 13 song album "Define Me" will be released early Summer 2013.
Guitarist and songwriter Kris Meyer-Ruef commented on the new album, “The Inheritors record was almost 3 years in the making by the time we had the pleasure of releasing it on Bullet Tooth. It seems only natural that at least 4 years since the birth of that record, Serianna is due for serious growth. Over the past year, we have gone through a major line up change and thought hard about the future of our band. It was pretty apparent to any fan of our band before that we were heavily rooted in metal core, influenced by the bands that could riff the tightest and fastest. We operated like a well oiled machine, tight and uniform. But that was just the problem: we operated like a machine. This new record has given us all the opportunity to pour our hearts into our music in a way that we felt was impossible before. Every one of us has a voice, and you will hear that through every song on this record. We went heavier, groovier, darker and more honest. I know deep down that kids are still looking for something real to fall in love with. We genuinely believe these songs are just that.”
Singer and lyricist Chris Nutting also commented, “I’m so excited for the world to hear this album because every song has a catchy hook that will get stuck in your head. That has always been a huge selling point for me with the music that I listen to, and I feel that it is such an important element to have in song writing. We wanted to write an album that would not only be fun to listen to, but also be a great experience to see live. You can bounce up and down to just about every song on the record. Each one of us played a role in writing lyrics, pulling influence from past experiences. You’ll be able to relate to these lyrics in one way or another. I couldn’t be more proud of how this album came together.”
Serianna recently released their new music video for their new single “Lose Yourself”! The song, originally by Eminem, premiered recently at AltPress.com and is available for download at iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and everywhere else music is available. The music video was filmed while the guys were on tour by director and close friend Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder). The video is streaming NOW on YouTube.
The debut album “Inheritors” from Serianna (Madison, WI) is available everywhere NOW! Fans can listen to the songs “Fragments” and “Guilty Spark” at their Facebook page, and watch a live music video for “Virtues" directed by Sam Link (Sleeping With Sirens, Decoder) from the recent Motel 6 "Rock Yourself To Sleep" Tour. Their songs "Fragments" and "Inheritors" are also available NOW on Rock Band for Xbox 360. The band has recently been on tour with Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Sleeping With Sirens, Affiance, Memphis May Fire, Attila, and more!

Throw The Fight “The Vault” (March 19, 2013)
01. Years Past
02. I Know
03. Breaking The Cycle
04. My Life In Your Hands
According to guitarist, Ryan Baustert, “It’s going to be good to get some more tunes out there for everyone to hear. These songs are tracks that we recorded prior to “What Doesn’t Kill Us” and we’ve been saving them for a rainy day.” Vocalist James Clark added, “The heart of the lyrics are about still having hope when the world seems against you. It’s about seeing the big picture and understanding that you can’t change the hand you have been dealt but you can make choices to change your outcome. No matter how difficult or hard some things seem, choose to change your own ending. It’s your story and you are the writer.”
Revolver Magazine recently launched the worldwide premiere of the new Throw The Fight music video for “Not So Hollywood”! Check it out at RevolverMag.com (or at VEVO). “Triple Threat Productions did a KILLER job producing the video. We had a great team going into this project and the whole experience was a ton of fun. All the people in this video are all close friends of the band, so that made everything that much more enjoyable. They made this video possible.” - Ryan Baustert (Guitar)
Throw The Fight released their new album”What Doesn’t Kill Us" this past June and the album continues the tradition of former acts from Minneapolis by delivering an authentic display of metal-edged, hard rock. The new single has had significant airplay and spins on Music Choice, SiriusXM Octane, CILU, KEYJ, KGAR, KILO, KISW, KMRQ, KQXR, KRDJ, KXXR, WAQX, WCPR, WEOS, WGRD, WHMH, WIIL, WJJR, WJRR, WRAT, WWBN, WWHG, WXCI, WXRX, and WZOR!

France’s NightShade is set to release its most adventurous album to date in 2013. The group’s third offering, “An Endless Vision” is set to continue the outfit’s signature one part deathcore and one part Euro metal sound. Recorded at Nalcon Studios and mixed by Jason Suecof (Trivium, Devildriver, Whitechapel), “An Endless Vision” boasts a huge groovy sound but ventures into ‘djentier’ territories without straying from the band’s roots.
Producer extraordinaire Jason Suecof commented on working with NightShade, “I personally enjoyed working on this album. It completely took my face, ripped it apart, rearranged it, and sold it on the black market as food for your kids whilst desecrating my soul for all eternity.”
Originally formed by Bastien Deluele, NightShade picked up a deal with Bullet Tooth for the release of the group’s second album, “Lost In Motion,” recorded, mixed, and mastered by the world renowned Fredrik Nordström (Bring Me The Horizon, At The Gates, Dark Tranquillity). Upon the release of “Lost In Motion” NightShade completed 2 U.S. tours, a European tour, and two appearances at the prestigious Euroblast Festival in Cologne Germany in 2010 and 2012. The song “The Depths Of Memory” is available on the RockBand Network for download now.
With the mastering being handled by Alan Douches (Lacuna Coil, The Ghost Inside), “An Endless Vision” will seek to deliver crushing grooves, epic breakdowns, lush melodies, and infectious electronic soundscapes in a way that sets NightShade apart from the rest. Keep your eyes posted for the release this year!
Interviews and features on NightShade have been posted at NoiseCreep, Highwire Daze, Alt Revolt (Page 1 & 2), MetalUnderground, Toledo Press, and the Hartford Advocate. The band has also had some great success at metal radio with spins and coverage from CILU, KJML, KRUA, KTUH, KUPD, WAQX, WBMT, WEDG, WEOS, WIYY, WMPG, WORT, WSUP, WUPX, WXCI, WXRX, and WZOR.
“NightShade combines the speed of traditional metalcore, the heaviness of death metal,
and influences of modern electronic music to create a unique sound that
should catapult them onto the tips of everyone’s tongues.” - KillerTours
